Style-locked illustration sets

A whole illustration set for your product, in one consistent house style.

Plixies builds a house style from reference images your brand already owns, then generates empty states, feature graphics and blog headers in it, for product and marketing teams with one designer or none.

Would five of your illustrations side by side look like one family?

Your illustrations today

Put several of your current illustrations side by side before you answer.

Style

If you placed five of your illustrations side by side, would they look like one family?

Do all your illustrations use the same line weight?

Do they draw from one defined palette?

Is the perspective the same across the set, for example all flat or all angled?

Is the level of abstraction the same, rather than some detailed and some minimal?

Characters

Do people or characters look like they belong to the same family from one illustration to the next?

Are faces, proportions and poses drawn to the same rules?

Could a new character be added without looking out of place?

Across the product

Are empty states in the same style as your feature graphics?

Do blog headers and social assets match the illustrations in the product?

Do onboarding screens use the same style as the rest of the product?

Producing more

Is the house style written down in a form a new designer could follow?

Do you have three reference images that show the style you want to keep?

Can you get a new illustration in the style without waiting on one person?

Are the files vector where you need them for production?

Answer the questions to see your score. It updates as you go.

Method: yes scores a question in full, partly scores half and no scores nothing. Each is weighted from one to three by how visible the inconsistency is across a set, and the score is the weighted share out of 100. Unanswered questions are left out.

The problem

A brand needs empty states, feature graphics, blog headers, onboarding screens and social assets, all in one recognisable style. That means paying an illustrator on retainer, or a stock library where nothing matches anything else.

Generated images do not solve it either, because consistency across a set is exactly where they fail.

Who it is for

  • Product and design teams

Teams at software companies who need dozens of consistent illustrations for empty states, onboarding screens and feature graphics, with one designer or none.

  • Marketing teams

Teams producing blog headers and social assets that all need to look like the same brand.

  • Direct-to-consumer brands

DTC brands that need a recognisable illustration style without an illustrator on retainer.

Every illustration in the same house style

Define a style once and every illustration after it matches: the same line weight, palette, perspective, character treatment and level of abstraction.

  1. Style from your references

Build a house style from a few reference images the brand already owns, or build a new one.

  2. Style locked in

Every later illustration keeps the same line weight, palette, perspective and level of abstraction.

  3. Sets that cohere

Illustrations are generated together as a set rather than one at a time.

  4. Consistent characters

Characters are kept consistent across a whole set.

  5. Vector for production

Output is vector where possible, for real production use.

  6. Saved and reusable

The style is saved and can be reused indefinitely.

Questions people actually ask

What do I get free?
A house style built from three reference images you already have, plus five finished illustrations in that style.
How does it keep illustrations consistent?
The house style is locked: line weight, palette, perspective, character treatment and level of abstraction stay the same, and sets are generated together so they cohere.
Do characters stay the same across a set?
Yes. Character consistency is maintained across a whole set.
Can I get vector files?
Yes, where possible. Vector export is part of the 249 dollars a month plan.
What does it cost?
79 dollars a month for 100 illustrations in one style, or 249 dollars a month for unlimited illustrations, multiple styles, vector export and team access.
Can I reuse my style later?
Yes. The style is saved and reusable indefinitely.
Is there an enterprise plan?
Yes, with brand governance and API access.
Why should I trust the illustration consistency check?
The score comes from your answers about images you already have, worked out in your browser. It does not look at any image; the free Plixies house style, built from three of your reference images with five illustrations in it, is the test on real images.
